How is Village Pediatrics different?
Kim, Maria, Keri, and Janelle all have children of their own. Our goal in starting Village Pediatrics was to eliminate the hassle and frustration of the traditional health care model. We are all striving to provide better service and value in the following ways.
No more waiting for appointments
Using the Open Access scheduling model means we keep 40 – 70% of our schedule open until the beginning of the day. We fill this space with patients starting when we open at 8:00AM. Give us a call. We can see your child today!
Come see us after work
Village Pediatrics offers evening and weekend appointments for busy families. We do this because our own founding mothers always had to leave work, or pull a child out of school in order to get them to the doctor. Village Pediatics is open until 6:00pm Monday through Friday We are also open on Saturday morning so that you can see your child’s pediatrician when its convenient for you.
Spend more time with your child’s doctor
The healthcare industry’s standard for a doctor visit is 7 minutes. Pediatricians are routinely expected to see 6 or more patients per hour. At Village Pediatrics, we cut this model in half by scheduling a maximum of 3 patients per hour. We want you to have time to ask your child’s pediatricians any questions you might have. By dedicating enough time to each patient, we can develop a comprehensive plan to treat and prevent illness in your child.
Old-Fashioned Medicine
Many of us can remember a hometown pediatrician from childhood. A place to go when feeling poorly where everyone knew your name, and you knew you would feel better soon. This pediatrician had seen ever bump, and every cold since you were born, and often knew how to make you feel better before you even saw them. Village Pediatrics is determined to bring this standard back to pediatrics. Call us today to see our dedication to your child’s health in action!
We’d like to thank Amy Stern for these amazing Professional Head Shots.
